Acoustic Seabed Classification

Seabed Classification is a mature and accepted technology, but there are still many people who have had no direct exposure to this form of seabed mapping. As leaders in the field, we would like to see the industry grow for the benefit of all. A prime way to promote this is through education.

Accordingly QTC presents academic tutorials at appropriate conferences, such as the IEEE Oceans conferences, and also presents workshops at numerous venues globally.

A typical workshop includes background and theory, hands-on data processing to make a seabed sediment map, and a free 30-day trial license for all attendees.
