Your Role:

Our electronics assemblers play an important role in assembling, inspecting, and testing electronic assemblies and components, including printed circuit boards, cables, wiring harnesses, and enclosures. We are very proud of our high-quality workmanship.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assemble kits of electronic components from general inventory using Bill of Material printouts.
  • Assemble electronic circuit boards using standard production documentation, including assembly drawings, schematics, and component descriptions.
  • Assemble system wiring harnesses and cabling following standard production documentation, such as assembly drawings and schematics.
  • Assemble mechanical sub-assemblies and complete system assemblies using standard production documentation.
  • Install production software and firmware into completed electronic assemblies.
  • Close jobs according to the production schedule and budget.
  • Optimize processes to increase efficiency.
  • Train new Production Assemblers in standard processes.
  • Complete quality inspections in accordance with existing standards.
  • Handle and store materials and products with care, maintaining accurate quality records.
  • Control the processing or delivery of nonconforming products until deficiencies are corrected.
  • Document all production and test activities and assist in maintaining assembly, test, and configuration management records.
  • Identify and record any product quality issues.
  • Initiate actions to prevent product nonconformity and improve products and processes.
  • Verify the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Must-Have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assembler in electronics industry.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of electronic circuit board assembly including component handling, soldering, and cleaning in a static controlled environment.
  • Understanding of all aspects of electronic hardware assembly including cable assembly, mechanical support hardware and enclosure assembly.
  • General knowledge of production techniques, standards, manufacturing and quality control principles and practices.
  • Basic knowledge of computer operations including file manipulation, program initiation and operation, and connection to serial and parallel ports.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a high-energy environment with minimum supervision.
  • Commitment to high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems and their use.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
